What happens if the tracker stops working?

Please contact the Holte Technical Department.
First step: check the correct connection of the device (two LEDs flash)
Second step: remote reset by the Holte Technical Department
Third step: hard reset, disconnect the device from the power supply for 2-3 minutes
Fourth step: replacement of the device

What is the warranty process like?

In case of damage we replace the device with a new one.

How long is the warranty for the tracking devices?

The guarantee is given for the entire duration of the contract with Holte, including its extension.

For what period is the service contract concluded?

Depends on the type and terms of the contract. We tailor the contract to the customer’s expectations. Thus, the contract can be concluded for a period of 1 or 2 years.

How does the order process look like?

After concluding a contract with Holte and completing all formalities by e-mail (contract approval), the order is sent by courier and dispatched within 2 working days upon contract approval.

How is the device installed?

In order not to generate additional costs for the customer, we have opted for an easy-to-install type of device, hence it is entirely done by the users.

Can HOLTE FLEET tracking be installed in other devices than the vehicles?

HOLTE FLEET can be connected to any device that has its own power supply operating between 12 and 24 volts.

What voltage do the devices operate at?

The devices operate between 10 and 30 volts.

How often do we 'refresh' the map?

The map is reloaded every 10 - 15 seconds on average (a vehicle on the move). If the vehicle is idle it is reloaded approximately every minute.

Is it possible to provide vehicle previews to forwarding companies?

Yes, of course. We cooperate with such forwarding platforms as Project 44, SixFold. CEO3, etc.

Is it possible to give a third party access to view the current position of the vehicle?

Yes, you can generate a temporary link for third parties with the current position of a given vehicle.

How does the HOLTE system work offline?

The offline mode of the Holte system is activated when you travel outside the EU border. The device stops sending the live position, but records the entire journey on the device and then saves the entire route on the Holte system when you return to the EU borders.

How long is the trip history report kept?

The trip history report is unlimited. We never delete the history, which gives you the opportunity to go back over every journey made by a vehicle.

What software is required to use the Holte system?

You can log into the Holte system using a regular web browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Mozzila Firefox, or Microsoft Edge). For mobile phones, we recommend using the dedicated Holte Flota application, which can be downloaded from the AppStore and Play Store.

How many devices / vehicles can I have on one account?

Our system does not have any restrictions on the number of vehicles displayed on one map

Will the device protect my vehicle against theft?

The device does not work as an anti-theft system. On the market there are GPS jammers for vehicles, with an easy access and widely available, which interrupt the device's work.

Is the device waterproof?

Yes, the FMT device is IP67 rated waterproof.

Is it possible to transfer the device to another vehicle when I sell my car?

Of course, it is possible. You can do this at no cost and on your own. All you need to do is transfer the device to another car and make appropriate changes in the Holte system (change the name of the vehicle).

I have already had a Holte device, will it work with eTOLL?

If you have an FMT100 device,



it is compatible with eTOLL requirements; however, new firmware and configuration must be uploaded. Please send the device back and our technical department will upload new software. The cost of this service is PLN 100 net per device. Next, you need to register your device in the eTOLL service - the cost is PLN 50 net. The device will be given a business number and a PIN code necessary to link the device with the vehicle on the website.

When do I have to switch to eTOLL?

The e-TOLL system commenced operation in June 2021. Until the end of September, both viaTOLL and eTOLL systems will operate simultaneously, however on 31.09.2021 the viaTOLL system will be deactivated and it will be mandatory to switch to the eTOLL system.

What do I pay for?

The subscription fee of PLN 16.67 per month or PLN 200 per year covers the cost of a SIM card which sends data every 5 seconds as required by the National Tax Administration and the maintenance of the server sending data to KAS.

Who is obliged to use the e-TOLL system?

The user of a motor vehicle or a set of vehicles with maximum permissible weight of over 3.5 tonnes, as well as the user of a bus regardless of the maximum permissible weight, if it drives on the toll roads, will be obliged to use the e-TOLL system.

How the toll for roads will be collected in the eTOLL system?

Any entity that needs to account for toll road trips will need to register the company and its vehicles at: https://etoll.gov.pl to the Internet Customer Account.

This will enable you to:
• register in e-TOLL without the need to conclude a contract
• manage users, including among others granting access to proxies and employees with different profiles, e.g.: administrator, accountant, driver
• perform payments and account top-ups, including but not limited to
- online payments, quick transfers, BLIK
- credit/debit or fleet card payments
- calculate the cost of travel and the minimum amount of security
- define constant, automatic topping up of the account with selected parameters
- manage notifications
• manage vehicles and assign them to the designated billing account
• manage registered geolocation devices online, including transferring them between vehicles, without visiting the Customer Service Centre
• contact the operator of the e-TOLL system or submit complaints using dedicated forms

How to pay for using the eTOLL system?

When you buy our device, you will receive a business number for your device and a PIN code to register on the government website
www.etoll.gov.pl and pay tolls on the toll roads.

The forms of payment include:
- Prepaid billing account
- Deferred payment settlement account with security

Which Tracker is best with eTOLL?

We offer two types of devices to choose from: ZSL or OBU. ZSL is an External Location System that requires professional installation by a certified technician. This is associated with high additional costs for installation and travel. Therefore, a better solution is an OBU (On Board Unit) that does not require professional installation. Such a device can be easily mounted to the vehicle itself and can be easily transferred from vehicle to vehicle if necessary. Holte Software Poland sells OBUs with its Holte Fleet eTOLL GPS tracker.

e-TOLL tax relief

The e-TOLL tax relief applies to income tax from June 29, 2021. The relief is related to expenses related to equipping vehicles with toll collection devices in the e-TOLL system.

Can I use any GPS tracker for eTOLL?

This is absolutely unacceptable. Only companies that have gone through a very complex and difficult certification process can sell National Tax Administration certified GPS devices that transmit data to the Ministry of Finance. No other GPS device except the ones on the https://etoll.gov.pl/ciezarowe/system-e-toll/urz%C4%85dzenia/zsl/ list are allowed.
At the same time, we wish to congratulate all 40 companies for completing this difficult and complex process.
